Successes continue for Sweden's most modern law firm. Recently as adviser to, among others, Schottenius & Partners AB, Daniel Bennett and Yogalant AB in connection with their sale of the LegalTech group Yellow Brand Protection to New York-based Corsearch.
-"The assignment has been a perfect match between our entrepreneurial perspective and the customer's innovative power. The fact that Yellow Brand Protection's business also creates justice and indirectly fights child labor feels extraordinary for Morris Law”, states Martin Taranger, CEO of Morris Law.
LegalTech company Yellow Brand Protection has developed a software that systematically scans the internet for suspected counterfeit sales. When the software detects a suspected advertisement for pirate goods, a physical person reviews the advisement. If the verifications show it is an illegal copy, a note is sent to relevant e-commerce platforms, including among others eBay and Alibaba. The holder of the platform than removes the products from its platform. Yellow Brand Protection's digital solution can effectively help brand owners to effectively fight against counterfeit trading online.
-"We started working with Morris Law when they started the firm in early 2014. We have worked closely together on all issues such as company law, incentive structures, IP and IT law, commercial agreements and GDPR. Because we work with innovative ideas and development issues, we also want legal advisers who see opportunities and are innovative, proactive and talented. Morris Law really lives up to this and in addition we have had fun together throughout this journey", says Klas Karlsson (co-founder and COO).
Yellow Brand Protection currently has approximately 43 employees at its offices in Varberg, London, Turin, Shanghai and Boston.Corsearch, which now purchased Yellow Brand Protection, offers software that will help companies get an overall image of their brands. Together, companies will be able to offer brand owners a competitive solution for brand management and protection.

The team at Morris has lead the entire transaction, including all international legal issues, and really demonstrated that mergers & acquisitions is their core business. They have effectively guided us through all the tricky questions and created a creative spirit and delivered proactive solutions.
