Morris Law has represented BioEndev AB (Bioendev) in a directed share issue to the Japanese investment fund Daiwa Energy & Infrastructure Co. Ltd. (Daiwa)
Umeå based BioEndev is a world leader in torrefaction of bio mass – a technology that transforms forest residues into black pellets, a renewable biofuel that can be used in both fuel and energy production. The use of black pellets instead of conventional white pellets means significantly reduced carbon dioxide emissions and thus greatly reduced climate impact.
Through the share issue, Daiwa becomes a new shareholder of BioEndev. Umeå Energi Aktiebolag continues to be the majority shareholder in BioEndev.
Morris Law have coached BioEndev through the entire process. Morris Law’s team consisted of Per Granström (responsible partner), Marta Laurell, Hampus Wikerstål and Anders Eriksson.
