huseriet and rikshem collaborate in large residential development in lund

Huseriet and Rikshem have through a joint venture entity signed agreements for the construction of approximately 700 residential apartments together with commercial premises in the new district of Västerbro in Lund. The project constitutes the second phase of a vast construction of new properties in Västerbro.

Morris Law has assisted Huseriet in connection with the signing of consultancy- and turn-key construction agreements for the project. The employer is Huseriet Riks AB, a joint venture entity between Huseriet and Rikshem. The project is expected to enable the development of approximately 45,000 square meters of residential apartment areas, 1,100 square meters of area for commercial activities and parking garage and is part of the joint goal to develop properties that, upon completion, will be acquired and managed by Rikshem. Construction on site is planned to commence in Q1, 2026.

In 2023, Huseriet and Rikshem began the construction of the first phase of housing in the district, with planned occupancy in the winter of 2025/2026. The two phases mean that over 1 000 residential apartments will be built.

Huseriet is a company with the sole intention to find, acquire, and develop properties with a focus on housing between Stockholm and Ystad.
