Morris Law has recently supported the owners of Icomera AB in the process of selling the company to Inéo, a French company that forms part of the publicly traded Engie group.
Icomera AB creates world-leading internet solutions for trains and buses. The company is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has its origins in Chalmers University of Technology. The company has an annual turnover of over SEK600m (approx. €61m) and subsidiaries in Great Britain, USA, France and Germany.
The Morris Law team consisted mainly of Olof Myhrman (responsible partner, M&A), Carl Friberg (M&A), Per Nylander (M&A) and Caroline Ygge (IP). Management was represented by Fredrik Sonander, responsible partner at Advokatfirman Vinge.
The buyer was represented by a team from Allen & Overy in Paris, consisting of Alexandre Ancel with assistance from Flora Leon-Serviere, as well as Malin Leffler (responsible partner), Sanna Isaksson and Emelie Zellmer from Stockholm-based firm Roschier.
