Morris law has assisted the Geely Group with a construction contract for the establishment of the Geely Innovation Center at Lindholmen in Gothenburg – one of the largest construction projects in the Gothenburg region. The project consists of several office buildings, a hotel and an innovation centre. Geely is planning to build approximately 80 000 sqm light BTA (Swe. ljus BTA) on the property.
The contractor is BRA Bygg, recently acquired by Veidekke. The first part of the project is supposed to be finalized in 2020. The project will contain work places for at least 3 500 persons. Geely’s subsidiary CEVT AB, that has grown to 2 000 persons at Lindholmen in only 3 years, will be one of the first and largest tenants in the innovation centre.
